Logistics Account Specialist
Position Summary
The Logistics Account Specialist (LAS) will engage with our operations and sales teams. Your primary responsibility will be to provide a best-in-class customer experience. The LAS is the liaison between the customer, carrier, shipper and consignee with specific oversight of a shipments life cycle in our network. Successful execution in multiple transactions will result in developing new client relationships and the skills required for strategic account management.
Based on our unique market position, traction within targeted market segments and positive economic factors, we expect that our historical organic growth will continue alongside further growth in profitability. A positive and energized approach to changing market dynamics in a fast paced environment will build a foundation for incremental progression with unlimited potential.
Responsibilities
- Providing customer service and communication, prospecting for new business and customer relationship management
- Operational support to ensure shipment integrity
- Direct sales as required
- Develop Target Accounts and manage the sales funnel
- Maintain profitable margins
- Conflict resolution for account retention
- Process orientation to reduce value outflow
- Align activity for positive financial results
- Drive organic growth by leveraging US Freight’s service portfolio
- Work closely with all stakeholders to enhance the customer experience

Position Requirements
- College degree or equivalent business experience
- Logistics experience a plus
